Living out childhood dream to be a nurse
A CHINCHILLA woman who has dreamed of being a nurse since she was a little girl has just graduated from university.
Jessica Elaine Healy recently received her Bachelor of Nursing at a ceremony hosted by the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba.
Her mother, Donna, is extremely happy for her daughter as she knows how much work went into attaining the degree.
“I’m very proud of her,” she said.
“She has always wanted to be a nurse.”
Donna also had some great news on Jessica’s future in the industry.
“She’s been successful in gaining a post-graduation placement at the Toowoomba Base Hospital,” Donna said.
“It will probably lead to full-time work.”
