CHINCHILLA Art Coun­cil takes you to Italy with Rick Romeo and Caro­line Lloyd Doolan, as they en­ter­tain ev­ery­one with “A Night in Italy” in the Chinchilla RSL Func­tion Room on Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 4, at 7.30pm.

Mr Romeo is a Queens­land lo­cal, who is well known in the re­gion from a va­ri­ety of pro­fes­sional the­atre events as well as his highly suc­cess­ful cabaret act

Night in Ve­gas and is known through­out Aus­tralia.

He will have the au­di­ence sway­ing in their seats as he sings up a storm with great num­bers made fa­mous by artists such as Pa­trizio Buanne and Michael Bu­ble.

Ms Lloyd Doolan was the found­ing mem­ber of the Or­pheus String Quar­tet dur­ing univer­sity and the Bar­rier Reef Or­ches­tra where she has held the po­si­tions of Con­cert Mas­ter, Prin­ci­pal Sec­ond, and Prin­ci­pal Vi­ola.

She is a se­nior in­stru­men­tal in­struc­tor with Ed­u­ca­tion Queens­land and has per­formed as a vo­cal­ist for NQOMT Phan­tom of the Opera, sung in the cho­rus for Mary Pop­pins, and more re­cently per­formed with Opera Queens­land in the pro­duc­tion Rud­dig­ore.
