Dovenby (UK)

M-Sport bought the near-derelict Dovenby Hall in 1998, completed its transformation in 2000, and built World Rally Cars on behalf of Ford until recently. Like Boreham, almost all their output was originally intended for works rallying, but an increasing number of customer cars were also produced. No fewer than 97 Focus WRCs were built, and considerably more Fiestas followed. In every case, these cars took place around bare shells, with (later) engines being manufactured on the same site too.
