READER’S PROJECT

Classic Ford - - READERS PROJECTS SPECIAL -

With a background in the custom scene, it’s no surprise Digger went to town on the Transit.

Bought as an unfinished, Rover-powered project, Digger saw the potential in the Mk2.

Once painted, the van could then be fitted up, including rewiring the engine bay.

The front chassis rails also needed reworking to accommodate the Jag set-up.

The first job was to remove the Rover and get the longer and bigger E300 engine to fit.

Trevor elected to bare-metal the bodywork prior to the respray in pearl white.
