Classic Ford

WELCOME

-

For some, the most satisfying aspect of classic Ford ownership is the build, and this issue celebrates just that. We’ve scoured the globe to bring you photos and details of what other old Ford nuts are up to in their garages, workshops and shared spaces — and suffice to say, there’s a whole lot going on!

It can be inspiring looking at project cars. They provide ideas for our own builds, and more importantly, help bring the enthusiasm back when yours is flagging after drilling out one too many spotwelds. As a snapshot of the restorations, builds (and rebuilds!) that are going on right now all over the globe, it’s also encouraging to see that there’s so much variety in the classic Ford scene.

If all this talk of project cars has inspired you to start a new one, then check out our guide to buying, planning and building one, put together with the help of Mick and Chris at Old Ford Autos, which starts on page 66 — what these two don’t know about picking up projects could be scrawled on the back of a 100E brake light lens...

Enjoy the mag.
