Mk2 Tran­sit Owner: Peter Lee Fea­tured: Novem­ber 2017 Built by cus­tom leg­end, Steve Stringer as the Club­mo­bil pro­to­type for Ford, Tran­sit guru Peter has tracked it down and faith­fully re­stored it. C. Mk1 Fi­esta Owner: Fraser Gel­lan Fea­tured: Sum­mer 2018 Put to­gether for hill­climbs and sprints, Fraser’s arched and Zetec-pow­ered has sub­lime lev­els of de­tail and fin­ish. D. Mk3 Es­cort Builder: Guido Pitzen Fea­tured: De­cem­ber 2017 A vet­eran of the ETCC, Guido has faith­fully re­stored this RS1600i to race-ready Group A spec, and it’s in­cred­i­ble. E. Mk1 Es­cort Owner: Mickey Ste­wart Fea­tured: Septem­ber 2018 One of the finest RS2000s on the show scene, Mickey went to in­cred­i­ble lengths to get his Olympic Blue Mk1 ‘just right’, track­ing down some rare RS ex­tras to en­hance it, too. F. Mk2 Fi­esta Owner: Dean Flow­ers Fea­tured: De­cem­ber 2017 Dean’s stun­ning XR2 wears its Resto­mod in­flu­ences on its sleeve, with the pep­per­pot split-rims re­veal­ing all is not what it seems. G. Mk4 Cortina Owner: Si­mon Hoar Fea­tured: Au­gust 2018 What can we say? Mk4s are rare, but the 2.3S ver­sion stupidly so, yet Si­mon took on the chal­lenge of restor­ing this Sig­nal Am­ber ex­am­ple to show­room stan­dard. H. Pop­u­lar 100E Owner: Mike Ran­dall Fea­tured: De­cem­ber 2017 Mike’s 1961 Pop pre­vi­ously be­longed to his late fa­ther, so he spent three years restor­ing the car as a trib­ute to him, and it’s pe­riod per­fect, right down to the white­walls and sun­vi­sor. I. Cray­ford Cor­sair Owner: Steve Par­doe Fea­tured: 2018 With a full-on body­work restora­tion, leather re­trim and ST170 en­gine con­ver­sion, Steve’s Cray­ford is a cracker. J. Mk2 Es­cort Owner: Mar­tin Lewis Fea­tured: Jan­uary 2018 Mar­tin’s YB-pow­ered, Bjorn Walde­gard works RS1800 trib­ute below the crowd’s minds when it was re­vealed at The Great Un­veil­ing. It’s not hard to see why — the fin­ish is flaw­less. K. Mk3 Capri Owner: Paul Streather Fea­tured: May 2018 With his day job build­ing and pre­par­ing race cars, it’s no sur­prise Paul’s own road car should be as well-ex­e­cuted as this fruity 2.1 Pinto-pow­ered, Mk3 fin­ished in Rosso Red. L. Thames 307E Own­ers: Dave and Barry Nail Fea­tured: Novem­ber 2017 Fa­ther and son, Dave and Barry turned this tired Anglia van into a South Lon­don-in­spired street screamer with sub­tle La­goon Blue paint and a hot Cross­flow.
