Your classic Ford problems explained and solved.
I’m a long time subscriber to Classic Ford and I own a one-man restoration shop. I’m currently working on rewiring a 1968 Cortina GT, and I remember an article about a company in the UK which manufactures new wiring harnesses to replace old or damaged originals. However, I don’t remember which issue the article was in. Can you point me to the correct issue?

Yes indeed, the feature you are after is out How To Make A Wiring Loom guide, published in the January 2013 issue. This back issue is no longer available but you can now download it as a PDF from our website at www.classicfordmag.co.uk.
The feature was put together in-conjunction with Autosparks, and they can either supply a full or part loom for the Mk2 Cortina you are working on, as well as adapt the loom to suit any modifications such as an electric fan.
