MALLORY PARK
A former RAF base, Mallory Park first opened as a race track in 1956, and quickly gained a reputation as a demanding circuit thanks to its fast but twisty 1.35-mile layout. The circuit has played host to all manner of race championships in its 62 years, from Formula One to the British Superbike Championship, as well as the British Saloon Car Championship from the ’60s through to the ’80s when the Escorts, Anglias, Capris and Falcons dominated the series, and has always been a firm favourite with race fans and thanks to its amazing spectator viewpoints.
