WHERE DO THE COMPONENTS GO?

Most ECUs are splash proof but not waterproof, which means they ideally need to be sited within the car. Brackets also need to be vibration-free while you’ll need proper installation of wiring – grommets through bulkheads, for example. You’d be surprised how many don’t and wonder why they have problems! You also need a full amount of battery charge – so a goodcapacity alternator, while the crank trigger pick up wires need to be screened or of the twistedtogether type to prevent interference. Lastly you will need to fit resistive spark plugs.
