LONDON CARTEL SHOW

With a run of meets and, er, runs behind them, London Cartel decided it was time for their own show, and it didn’t disappoint.

Fine Fords gather in the south east.

I f you know London Cartel, you’ll know they don’t do things by halves. Their Ace Cafe and London Cruises have graced all of our Facebook pages year after year. Not only famous for bringing out some of the finest cars across the scene, but the turn out for their meets would even put some official events to shame.

But what was next for the team at London Cartel — nothing other than their own show.

We knew this was going to be a big one, but with 4000 visitors and close to 2000 cars, this was not a bad turn out for their first official show at the South Of England Showground near Haywards Heath in West Sussex.

So many things put this show apart from the rest like the four-bay car wash to the 50 metre-wide stage that hosted an incredible amount of quality cars from all over the UK and Europe.

Over 40 traders displayed their quality products, a great mix of entertainment from the DJ, radio-control cars and even axe throwing and of course a fully-licensed bar. Everything from the layout, the spacing of the cars and the meticulous planning made this debut a fantastic success.

It was evident from the start this was going to be an all make show, but we weren’t quite ready for the diversity of cars on display with many tastefully modified retro cars all competing for one of the many show and shine awards up for grabs.

With 2019’s date already announced as August 11, this show will definitely be a staple in the event calendar for years to come.
