Simon Hoar’s Cortina 2.3S Featured: August 2018

Few were even aware that Ford produced a 2.3-litre V6 version of the already-rare Mk4 S range, until Simon’s example cruised into the shows at the start of 2018. Bought partially-restored and thankfully with most of the parts included, Simon nevertheless had a challenging time bringing the Cortina back to showroom condition — electing to change the colour from Daytona Yellow to Signal Amber at the same time and making sure that fantastic Cadiz interior trim was just right. Simon has picked up a whole host of trophies since he debuted the 2.3S, and there’s a lot more to come.
