POLY BUSHES

-

Firmer, longer-lasting, and look standard

Difficulty:

Time to fit: 4 hours Polyurethane suspension bushes are great for many reasons. They are one of the few modifications that even sticklers for originality are happy to use, not only due to their impressive benefits, but also because once in place, it’s hard to see they’ve been fitted — especially if you opt for the dark blue or black bushes from the likes of Superflex or Rally Design. So why go for polyurethane bushes? They’re much more resilient than rubber bushes, meaning they last far, far longer, so come MoT time, you’re not panicking about worn bushes. Being harder than the average rubber suspension bushes, they also stiffen up the suspension rather nicely, without being too harsh (providing you don’t go for competition spec ones). They’re usually easy to fit, and quite a cheap upgrade, too, so what’s not to like?

How much: £22.50 (new, 105E inner TCA kit, Superflex)
