RESTORATION
Rochdale arrived in boxes after being deemed too big a project by previous owners.
Original Ford engine was rebuilt and paired with the three-speed box.
Chassis had been 'boxed' back in the day for improved rigidity.
Lower seats allowed a more elegant floor installation.
Extensive fibreglass repairs were needed but were easy DIY.
Vinyl wrap worked well and was more cost-effective than a pro paint job.
Andrew considered competing in the car but it would need extensive mods.
Aquaplane instruments live in the neat dash panel.
The entire restoration was completed in the garage at home.
