PRE-SHOW ELBOW GREASE
Up to now the weather hasn’t been good enough to give our Triumph’s dull paintwork a thorough valet but after tackling the car’s (very large) roof with a small amount of G3 rubbing compound, the result was very encouraging.
When it finally stops raining, we’ll give all the paintwork a gentle going over with rubbing compound following by a generous coat of wax polish before we head off the NEC where members of the Triumph 2000 and 2500 Register will be getting their hands dirty overhauling the bottom end of our Triumph’s 2.5-litre straight six.
