What do you like about the MGA?

The curvaceous body lines and how the car drives.

What was the hardest part of the restoration? Stripping off the wings and glass for a bare metal repaint and refit.

Can you tell us the time and cost of the work? Four months and £6815.

What are you most proud of?

Completing the change over from left-hand drive and the end result.

What reaction do you get?

Lots of good comments, which is very rewarding.

What’s it like to drive?

It handles surprising well and with the five-speed gearbox conversion can cruise at 70mph without damaging my ears or the engine.
