INSURING A JAGUAR Mk2

-

To find out how much it would cost to insure a Jaguar Mk2, we spoke to the experts at insurance specialist, RH, and enquired how much it would cost to cover a 1965 Jaguar Mk2 with a market value of £22,500. The quote was based on a 40-year-old male owner who keeps the car garaged overnight, has a clean licence, is employed as a Banker, limits the car to 5,000 miles per annum and lives in the IP7 postal area.

The cost for 12 months’ cover, for use of the Jaguar as a second car, would be £144.89 plus insurance premium tax (IPT). The policy includes an excess of £100 and comes with built- in UK & European breakdown, 90 days European cover and complimentary salvage retention. RH doesn’t charge a single penny in admin fees for any changes made whilst on cover. In fact, only a material change in risk, such as an increase in your vehicle’s value, will potentially have an effect on your premium.

A multi- vehicle discount is available when insuring additional vehicles whether they’re vintage, classic or everyday modern. Policy benefits offered by RH may vary between insurance schemes or cover selected and are subject to underwriting criteria.
