GO VAUXHALL!

I'm very much enjoying this month's Classic Monthly – very interesting articles on the Austin Somerset, Sunbeam Tiger and the Vauxhall VX 490. I couldn't agree more with you that Vauxhalls are not appreciated as they should be and are overshadowed by the popularity of Fords. Of all of the hire cars which I have driven over the years, most were Fords and they invariably struck me as completely bland to drive, a feeling which was confirmed when on one occasion I collected a Vauxhall – it seemed to me to have a character which was totally lacking in the Ford equivalent.
