The 924 garnered a lot of praise when new, but was also criticised for lacking the power that people expected from a car wearing the Porsche badge. The later Turbo and 924S options certainly boosted power, but don’t dismiss the entry level cars because they are beautifully styled, impeccably built and huge fun to drive. People are realising this now though and they are no longer so cheap, but they still offer a lot of car for the money.
