New 750 MC award
The 750 Motor Club has launched anew award for design and innovation, in association with Radical Sports Cars.
While showcasing their design skills, 750 Motor Club members have the opportunity to win £1000 and a full day’s testing with the Radical works team.
The 750 Motor Club has a strong heritage in nurturing design and engineering talent and many of the club’s formula have been founded on the principle of encouraging people to design and build their own racing cars and prove them on track. Celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2014, the Club hopes to inspire a new generation of engineers to fire up their welders and demonstrate their skills.
Former Lotus F1 driver and current 750 Motor Club Vice President John Miles has generously donated £1000, while Phil Abbott of Radical Sports Cars has offered a day’s circuit driving in a Radical SR8 and the new Radical RXC.
“We wanted to mark our 75th anniversary be reaffirming the clubs commitment of enabling those with a passion for engineering to really experiment and develop new ideas,” explained John Miles.
Now a world famous manufacturer of innovative highperformance road and track cars, Radical started life competing in 750 Motor Club events.
“We are delighted to be able to offer something back to the 750 Motor Club and its members, and we are proud to help develop the same spirit of creativity that has resulted in so much success for Radical over the years,” said Phil Abbott, co-founder of Radical.
