What would be your dream classic?

Ideally I would like a 1967 Camaro Z28 (ZL1) or a 1967 Firebird 400, but I’ve not got £50k-£80k spare! These cars were designed in the American automotive heyday when nobody cared about MPG. The shape was sketched before computers started messing with the design of cars, back when real people looked at what worked and made shapes that inspired desire. Link this with the brute force of the big-block V8 engines they put in and you have the makings of a smile that does not go away. The feeling of the torque if you are heavy on your right foot has not been replaced with turbos or high revving smaller engines – that is only my opinion, but I had my first V8 muscle car at 18 and it left an impression I still live with. And I haven't even mentioned the sound yet, but American V8s have a great deep roar. Modern cars sure have the edge when it comes to cornering, efficiency, ride, comfort and all the toys you will ever need. The problem today is manufacturers forgot about how a car makes you feel over a long period of time, and I doubt many of today’s models will be held in the same high regard as many classic cars are today.

Which car do you most regret selling? My AC Cobra (DAX), my 1971 SS Camaro, and the Firebird pictured below.
