MUNSTER resident Joseph Harrall has been awarded a Lions Children of Courage Special Needs Award for his strength in the face of adversity.

The 15-year-old, who has cerebral palsy, received the award from Lions International in front of his peers at an assembly at Atwell College.

“I am happy all the time and I always am trying different things to help me to live my life,” Joseph said.

“I always look for good things in my life.

“I felt the best to get the award. It felt like all my hard work paid off.”

“He’s always trying and he gets involved.”
