Con­fronting topic of death

A WHITE Gum Val­ley res­i­dent will be bring­ing a num­ber of com­mu­nity events to Fre­man­tle as part of Dy­ing to Know Day next month.

Ni­co­lette Smith said she and her Gift of Grace co-di­rec­tor Stacey Farmer would aim to get lo­cals more com­fort­able with talk­ing about death and dy­ing.

“We will also lead dis­cus­sions on a range of top­ics, in­clud­ing con­duct­ing your own fu­neral, eco-friendly choices and fu­neral and plan­ning op­tions,” she said.

“Another in­ter­est­ing as­pect we will dis­cuss is what hap­pens to your so­cial and dig­i­tal media foot­print af­ter you die.”
