WITH just four rounds to go, East Fre­man­tle’s fi­nals chances look shot af­ter another loss over the week­end.

The Sharks were beaten 13.10 (88) to 10.9 (69) by lowly Perth, who recorded just their sec­ond win for the sea­son.

The match was in the bal­ance at three-quar­ter time with the De­mons up by just eight points.

But they were able to con­sol­i­date their lead with five fi­nal-term goals to three to en­sure they es­caped with the points at Lath­lain Park.

Bren­nan Stack booted four goals, with Michael Sin­clair, Liam McKenna and Cal­lum Wal­ley kick­ing two each in the win.

For­mer Shark Ai­dan Tropi­ano gath­ered 31 dis­pos­als, Jar­ryd Mor­ton 31 and McKenna 32.

Brock O’Brien booted five goals from 12 dis­pos­als for the Sharks, with midfielder Liam An­thony tal­ly­ing one goal and a game-high 35 dis­pos­als.

Su­bi­aco con­tin­ued their march to­wards the fi­nals with a crush­ing 44-point win over South Fre­man­tle at Leed­erville Oval on Satur­day.

The Lions trailed by two goals at half-time but domi- nated the lat­ter stages to power home 16.8 (104) to 9.6 (60).

Michael Wood booted five ma­jors, while for­mer Docker Sam Mene­gola gath­ered 35 dis­pos­als tand three goals.

For the Bull­dogs, Ash­ton Hams led ev­ery­one for dis­pos­als with 36, to go with his sin­gle goal.

Josh Pull­man booted three ma­jors in the loss.

Clare­mont recorded a timely win at the Show­grounds, hold­ing off fel­low fi­nals as­pi­rants Swan Dis­tricts by 15 points on Satur­day.

Beau Mais­ter booted four goals in the 13.11 (89) to 10.14 (74) win, while Jack Brad­shaw kicked three.

Ryan Neates gath­ered 33 dis­pos­als and Corey Yeo 32 for the Tigers.

Ricky Cary kicked three ma­jors for Swans and Rudy Rid­doch two. Adam Faulkner racked up 33 dis­pos­als.

West Perth’s hold on sec­ond spot on the WAFL ta­ble is at risk fol­low­ing a four-point loss to East Perth at Leed­erville Oval on Sun­day.

Tom Lamb booted four goals and Pa­trick McGin­nity gath­ered 30 dis­pos­als to help the hosts to a 10.12 (72) to 9.14 (68) win.
