ABOUT 50 people made their way to the Cockburn RSL in Hamilton Hill last Tuesday to mark Vietnam Veterans Day, pausing to remember the sacrifice made by Australians during the conflict.
Between 1962 and 1975, more than 60,000 Australian servicemen and women were deployed to Vietnam, with 520 killed.
Last week the Federal Government unveiled an online Vietnam War gallery of pictures featuring family photographs, enlistment portraits and candid pictures from the war.
