IT’S NOT THE SEASON OF GIVING FOR EVERYONE
Christmas is the time for giving – that rule applies to most of us but the baddies are the exception. For them, Christmas is clearly a time for taking. They like nothing better than breaking into your houses knowing that your Christmas presents are wrapped and displayed under the family Christmas tree. Baddies don’t give a second thought to the fact that your kids will miss out on receiving their presents or that a lot of thought has been given to selecting the right gift. Basically they are low-life scumbags who view your hard work and sacrifices as too much of an opportunity to pass up. You won’t find too many baddies planning and preparing for this Christmas. The only planning they will be doing is working out how to break into someone else’s house to steal their valuables. Please ensure that your house is secure and make it as difficult as possible to burgle. Notify your neighbours if you are going away for a few days. If you are going away for an extended period, notify your local police station. – Detective Sergeant Gary Thwaites.
