A FREMANTLE resident hopes she can bring beauty and compassion together when she vies for the Miss Galaxy Australia title.

Miss Fremantle Galaxy Australia Jade Fairbairn is competing for a spot in the competition’s national final in January while raising money for Make-A-Wish Australia and the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors.

She said she loved being able to combine pageantry and modelling, which she had been doing since age 12, with helping others.

“Helping others is such an integral part of my life and I know I can make a difference in people’s lives,” she said.

“All it takes is some of your time to help another in need and you can make their life a bit brighter.

“My motivation to enter the Miss Galaxy pageant is to raise awareness of how we can all make a difference in our communities, in our countries and in our world.

“Through the Miss Galaxy pageant, I hope to inspire others to get involved and give back to the community.”
