KEEP CARS AND BIKES SECURE FROM EASY THEFT

Cockburn Gazette - - STREET WATCH -

FREMANTLE Police would like to thank everyone, especially the many families who attended Fremantle to celebrate Australia Day. The crowds were well behaved, with few incidents requiring police involvement. Crime in the Fremantle area is broken into two main areas; theft from motor vehicles in the CBD car parks/beach car parks and the theft of unsecured bicycles in the CBD and outside homes particularly in White Gum Valley and Beaconsfield. These types of crimes are very difficult to combat unless we get your help in ensuring your car, boot and sunroof is locked, don’t leave valuables in clear view and secure your bike with a chain or out of the view of that opportunistic criminal. #TougherForCrooks is the new campaign so let’s all get on board.

– Fremantle Officer in Charge Brad Warburton
