Say thanks to a nurse

Cockburn Gazette - - OPINION -

THEY are there for us when we are at our most vulnerable.

Now we have a chance to thank a nurse or midwife by nominating them for an Australian Nursing Award.

The annual awards shine a spotlight on the vital work carried out by nursing graduates, individuals and teams.

HESTA chief executive Debby Blakey said nurses make a difference to the lives of many Australians.

“The awards are a way of acknowledging individuals and teams who provide exceptional care and are also an opportunity to highlight innovations that lead to improvements in clinical practice and improved patient care,” she said.

To nominate visit www.hestanursing before March 11.
