FUNDS TO PAY TALENTED PAIR’S TUITION

Cockburn Gazette - - OPINION -

TWO talented Cockburn youngsters were among recipients of a Variety Scholarship this month.

Success’ Joshua Kinghorn scored basketball funding, while South Lake resident Lewis Smith will use his scholarship for piano tuition.

Thirty-seven young people shared in $104,000 worth of funding to help with special tuition and other expenses across the arts, sports and education.

Variety chief executive Michael Pailthorpe said his team was thrilled to offer a hand to children and young people who might not otherwise have the means to develop their talents.

Johsua Kinghorn and Lewis Smith received Variety Scholarships.
