Mums team up to host ‘stand out’ events

Cockburn Gazette - - NEWS -

TWO southern suburbs mums have established a not-for-profit with the aim of supporting women’s charities.

Diamond Events and Markets was established by Aubin Grove’s Cheranne Cable and Secret Harbour’s Kate Berry, who felt the community was lacking the fun and excitement of events run north of the river.

“We’ve both been through some changes lately that left us longing for something ‘stand out’ and positive,” Ms Cable said.

Their first event, a ladies night market in Atwell, will be held on Friday.

All proceeds will go to the Patty Brisben Foundation.

“The first event is a chance for us to support local and small businesses,” Ms Cable said.

“If this event goes well we have a few other ideas for some other stalls and events we can do.”
