A man was sleep­ing in his ve­hi­cle near the East Street Jetty about 2.30pm on Sun­day Jan­uary 17 when he woke to find a man stand­ing next to the driver’s door hold­ing a knife. The man de­manded money from the vic­tim be­fore run­ning away to­wards Beach Street. Po­lice have re­leased a CCTV im­age of a man (above) they want to speak to. He is de­scribed as dark skinned, 175-178cm tall with a thin build, wear­ing a white shirt, dark shorts and a black, redrimmed base­ball cap pulled low over his face. About 8.50pm on Tues­day, March 15, a graf­fiti of­fence was com­mit­ted near the po­lice sta­tion. Po­lice are look­ing for a man who they say can help with their inves-

He was wear­ing a white shirt, black track pants with a white stripe on both legs and car­ry­ing a black bag. He also has tat­toos down both arms. Fre­man­tle po­lice want to iden­tify a woman (right) whom they be­lieve can help them with in­ves­ti­ga­tions into an in­ci­dent. Be­tween 6.45pm and 7pm on Sun­day March 13, an ANZ bank card was stolen from a parked car in North Fre­man­tle. Po­lice al­lege the woman used the stolen card at Coles Ex­press Bic­ton at 7.08pm the same day. Crash in­ves­ti­ga­tors are look­ing for in­for­ma­tion on a se­ri­ous hit and run on Wed­nes­day March 16. At 5pm, a man in his 60s was driv­ing a Vmoto scooter trav­el­ling east on An­gus Av­enue when it col­lided with a sil­ver SUV/wagon trav­el­ling south on Den­ham Street. The driver of the car failed to stop. The scooter driver re­ceived se­ri­ous in­juries and was taken to Fiona Stan­ley Hos­pi­tal. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion can call Crime Stop­pers.


A 21-year-old Spear­wood man was ar­rested over a num­ber of in­ci­dents across the South Metropoli­tan area on March 16. At 2.45pm po­lice were called to a shop on Rockingham Beach Road, Rockingham, where a safe had been stolen. Staff pro­vided de­tails of the ve­hi­cle the of­fender left in. At 4.25pm, po­lice saw the ve­hi­cle on Par­rot Way, Spear­wood, and at­tempted to stop it. The driver was ar­rested af­ter a long chase through a num­ber of sub­urbs.
