The Cougars women endured another tough weekend after falling well short in their clash with Willetton on Friday.

Both Cougars sides play the South West Slammers at Eaton Recreation Centre on Saturday.

On the other side of town, the Lakeside Lightning found a road trip against the Rockingham Flames too hard to handle.

The Lightning women went down by 16 points, while the men were never really in the game, going down by 28 points despite 20 points each from TJ Hallice and Seva Chan. Both Lakeside Lightning teams will host the East Perth Eagles on Friday night.
