WITH all the congestion on the roads in the Armadale, Beeliar, North Lake and Berrigan Drive areas and all the talk about the proposed bridge from North Lake Road to Armadale Road, why don’t the mayors of Armadale and Cockburn get together to organise a crowdfunding to fund the difference in costs.
I for one would be prepared to get the ball rolling…and I am a pensioner.
I am sure many frustrated motorists who use those roads would be more than happy to make a donation.
Failing that, why not increase our rates by $5 a household: think how much revenue that would bring in.
Just some food for thought. JACKIE HOAD, Jandakot.
