St Jerome’s in Food Rev­o­lu­tion

SOME very ex­cited school kids trav­elled into the city on Fri­day to take part in a rev­o­lu­tion.

But they were not there to over­throw the State Govern­ment, or even the Perth Coun­cil.

They were tak­ing part in the Food Rev­o­lu­tion, launched by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.

The aim is to en­sure chil­dren have ac­cess to nu­tri­tious food, but also ad­dresses food waste, buy­ing re­spon­si­bly pro­duced food and the skill of cook­ing.

Stu­dents from Mun­ster’s St Jerome’s Pri­mary School made the trip to Jamie’s Ital­ian Perth, where they took part in ac­tiv­i­ties cen­tred on healthy eat­ing and the im­por­tance of a good break­fast.
