Cow milked for lessons in art, nutri­tion

SOUTH Lake Pri­mary School has wrapped up work paint­ing a fi­bre­glass cow.

The ini­tia­tive was part of Dairy Aus­tralia’s na­tional Pi­casso Cows pro­gram, which teaches stu­dents where their food comes from and the ben­e­fits of con­sum­ing dairy foods.

The cow was sent to school as a blank can­vas.

More than 80 schools took part in the 12-week pro­gram.
