Sharks out of top five

EAST Fre­man­tle have slipped out­side the top five af­ter a fourth straight loss.

The Sharks were beaten 10.9 (69) to 3.8 (26) at East Fre­man­tle Oval on Satur­day.

In tough con­di­tions, the Thun­der were up by three goals at quar­ter time.

From there they re­stricted the hosts to just two goals af­ter quar­ter time, in­clud­ing none in the sec­ond half.

Brett Mil­ward booted three goals in the win, with Rory O’Brien rack­ing up 32 dis­pos­als and six in­side 50s against his for­mer side.

Jay­den Schoe­field gath­ered a team-high 24 dis­pos­als for the Sharks.

Skip­per Jamie McNa­mara tal­lied 23 dis­pos­als, a game high seven in­side 50s and topped it off with a goal.
