FUTURE – URBAN DEVELOPMENT
A portion of the new suburb of Treeby will be transformed from an old sand mine to a new urban area.
Cockburn's planning and development director Daniel Arndt said this would occur primarily over the privately owned ex-sandmined sites between Jandakot Road, Warton Road, Armadale Road and the Calleya Estate.
“The area will contain about 4000 new residential dwellings, a town centre and two new primary schools,” he said.
“The area will be centred around a protected Bush Forever site.”
