A BIBRA Lake commercial area is among 19 finalists up for a Premier’s 2016 Excellence in Public Sector Management Award.

LandCorp’s Cockburn Commercial Park is competing against Landgate for the Developing the Economy award.

The precinct provides work for about 2900 people and produces goods and services valued at an estimated $1.2 billion annually. Premier Colin Barnett said the standard of nominations was high.

“There were 37 nominees which together demonstrated just how innovative our public sector agencies are,” he said.

Winners will be announced on November 2.
