POLICE are looking for witnesses to a motorcycle accident on Carrington Street on Saturday October 15. Just before 12.30am, a motorcycle was being ridden south on Carrington Street. Police believe the rider might have hit concrete kerbing. A 47-year-old man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries. FREMANTLE detectives have arrested a 45-year-old Noranda man after investigations into an assault. Police allege that between 10pm and 10.40pm on Thursday, October 7, a 40-yearold man had a verbal altercation with a security officer outside a licensed premise on South Street. Police say the security officer struck the victim on the face with his torch, causing a fractured cheekbone, jaw and nose. The 45-year-old was charged with grievous bodily harm and will appear at the Fremantle Magistrates Court on November 1.
