PO­LICE are look­ing for wit­nesses to a mo­tor­cy­cle ac­ci­dent on Car­ring­ton Street on Satur­day Oc­to­ber 15. Just be­fore 12.30am, a mo­tor­cy­cle was be­ing rid­den south on Car­ring­ton Street. Po­lice be­lieve the rider might have hit con­crete kerb­ing. A 47-year-old man was taken to Royal Perth Hos­pi­tal with se­ri­ous in­juries. FRE­MAN­TLE de­tec­tives have ar­rested a 45-year-old No­randa man af­ter in­ves­ti­ga­tions into an as­sault. Po­lice al­lege that be­tween 10pm and 10.40pm on Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 7, a 40-yearold man had a ver­bal al­ter­ca­tion with a se­cu­rity of­fi­cer out­side a li­censed premise on South Street. Po­lice say the se­cu­rity of­fi­cer struck the vic­tim on the face with his torch, caus­ing a frac­tured cheek­bone, jaw and nose. The 45-year-old was charged with griev­ous bodily harm and will ap­pear at the Fre­man­tle Mag­is­trates Court on Novem­ber 1.
