WHEN it comes to love, Rachael Gouvignon and Cam Cranley know a thing or two.
The respective stars of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette got together in Northbridge last week to confess their love for Perth.
The two local favourites from the popular Channel 10 reality television shows have combined to throw their weight behind #SnapPerth 2016 in the lead-up to Snap Day on November 16.
Rachael, who grew up in Perth's western suburbs, named the city’s beaches as her favourite spots to spend time.
“I love Cottesloe, Trigg and City Beach, where I grew up,” she said.
“Perth’s beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world that I have seen.
“You know when you’re jumping in the ocean, it’s so fresh and clean in comparison to other parts of the world.”
Rachael said she loved the atmosphere of Perth.
“I love how it's growing and building; there’s always change happening,” she said.
Cam flagged Lake Monger as one of his favourite spots, where he likes to jog “a couple of laps” from time to time.
“I love the river and the coast walk; getting a coffee at Yelo too, which is a good place to just sit and have a catch up with mates,” he said.
When it comes to Perth, it’s the vibe that really endears the city to Cam.
“It’s a city with a smaller town vibe,” he said. “Everyone feels like they know each other and everyone's kind of all relaxed and chilled.
“You can go have a Sunday session with your mates down at the beach and just really relax.”
Both Cam and Rachel confessed their love for Perth at the Cultural Centre in Northbridge, the location of the huge #SnapPerth event taking place on Wednesday, November 16.
The event will include a performance by a live DJ, as well as free giveaways and beanbags on which you can relax.
There will be a huge display of all your #SnapPerth pics on the big screen and you can print a copy of your picture on our Instagram printer. Food trucks will also be available. The event runs from 11am to 2pm. Log on to www.snapperth.com.au for details.
