BAKER PUTS FREO ON LIST
AMERICAN singer-songwriter Julien Baker is coming to Australia for the first time and she has earmarked Fremantle as one of her must-perform locations.
The 20-year-old Tennessee-based musician will end the year with a national tour to celebrate the release of her debut record Sprained Ankle, and will include a performance at the Fremantle Arts Centre next month.
Baker’s music is described as personal and heartfelt, her lyrics easily relatable to anyone with a niggling insecurity. Emma Russack will support her on stage. Baker will perform an over-18 show at the Fremantle Arts Centre’s Inner Courtyard on December 1 from 7pm.
Tickets start from $38 and are available from www.fac.org.au.
