DANCER KEPT ON HER TOES
PORT Kennedy dancer Kelly Devlin left for New York on April 4 to compete in the Youth American Grand Prix.
The 15-year-old was thrilled to be accepted into the prestigious ballet competition and said it was an amazing opportunity.
“I started ballet training at age five at The Dance Edge Co,” Kelly said.
“Last year I decided to focus solemnly on my classical ballet and began training full time at KMPAA.
“After many years of hard work, I have been lucky enough to have received so many amazing offers.”
Kelly has been accepted into many prestigious ballet summer schools and has had invitations to final auditions of European ballet schools.
“I plan to continue my ballet training at a reputable international ballet school commencing in September this year,” she said.
Kelly said she loved the hard work, determination and long hours of training that ballet requires.
“I love pushing my limits,” she said.
