Footy-mad Caed (9) has ambitions to play for Dockers

Cockburn Gazette - - DRIVEWAY -

CAED Luff is one footy-mad nineyear-old.

Watching his older brothers running around playing Auskick, it was not long before Caed begged his parents to let him do the same

as soon as he turned six. Now a member of the Kardinya Kats’ Year 5 team, the Fremantle resident has made his mark among teammates, earning himself numerous awards and the captaincy

in his short football career.

“I enjoy it because it is fun to run around with my mates and tackle other players,” he said.

“I want other players to think I am a good, fair player and have respect for the way I play and it is also important to be a good role model for other players in my team.

“I try to play like Michael Walters or Marcus Bontempelli because they are fast and read the ball play like I try to.

“I would love to play AFL one day, hopefully for the Freo Dockers because they are my favourite team.”
