DO SOME people realise that renewable energy is much more than just wind and solar energy?

I'm sick of hearing the pathetic old argument that renewables are intermittent, under powered and unreliable because apparently that's all renewables are, wind and solar. There are a mix of renewables that are not fully dependant on the wind or sunshine.

Renewables like tidal, hydro electric, wave, solar thermal chimneys, salt ponds and my personal favourite, geothermal hot rocks technology. This is 24-7, constant solid energy from the vast heat source of the planet’s core.

This renewable source blows away every other renewable. This alone could do it all. We are pretty good at drilling very deep wells for oil and gas. You can't sell the hot rocks as a fuel – that's the problem. BRAD CAPES Coolbellup
