MUSIC lovers will be spoilt for choice with two great musical shows at the Fremantle Arts Centre next week.

Thirty years on from the release of their debut album At First Sight Violets are Blue, iconic WA band The Stems will kick off the back-to-back lineup with a big show on November 3.

Original members Dom Mariani, Julian Matthews and Dave Shaw will be joined by guest guitarist Davey Lane and will perform the popular album in full.

Mission Songs, a collection of indigenous folk songs performed between 1900 and 1999, will follow up the next night.

Jessie Lloyd has travelled across the country collecting the songs and will be joined on stage by Emma Donovan, Deline Briscoe and Jessica Hitchcock for the performance.

The Stems perform from 6pm on November 3 while Mission Songs is on from 7.30pm on November 4.
