AFTER a successful first year of ‘bacon’ people crazy, the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges will bring back the festival made popular by the delicious breakfast food.

The Fremantle Bacon Festival, according to hotel spokeswoman Abby McDowell, is a two-day celebration paying homage to the versatile salty treat.

“We are bringing back the Fremantle Bacon Festival as it was such a success last year,” she said.

“Thousands of people came

through the event to try different bacon delights and enjoy the live music.

“The vendors were extremely happy with the event, so we have the crowd favourites back this year plus some exciting new ones joining them.

“This year we are creating an even bigger dedicated kidszone to create a better experience for families and open up more space for people to enjoy the main market hall.”

Confirmed vendors include Cocktail Gastronomy, 3 Little Pigs and South Trade.

Tickets are $10 and include a free drink.
