FOSTERING futureenabled young people who are capable of transcending life’s many boundaries is the core purpose of Djoowak: The Beyond Boundaries Institute (BBI), launched earlier this year at All Saints’ College.

BBI brings together universities, industry, corporate leaders, communities and families to create an ecosystem in which students can innovate, experiment, flourish and thrive.

Recognising there is no one pathway to a tertiary education or to a range of futures, BBI aims to prepare students not just for exams but for a fulfilling life ensuring that they are interacting and SETON Catholic College understands the most admired leaders among us are not simply book smart, they are kind, compassionate and guided by a genuine sense of empathy.

At Seton, pastoral care is interweaved through every student interaction, nurturing well-rounded individuals guided by strong morals and ethics.

Each child’s pastoral care journey begins from the moment they first settle into the school learning in local, national and global contexts.

Supported by internationally acclaimed education transformer Professor Yong Zhao, who is the patron of the BBI, the Institute is future-focused and dedicated to innovation and leadership environment, where Year 7 students are inducted by Year 11 leaders.

This coming together of younger and older students is continually nurtured over the years, leading to an environment that ensures younger students feel supported, while older students thrive in their roles as leaders and mentors.

Such meaningful encounters are a foundation element of Seton. in educational practices.

“All Saints’ students have a wonderful opportunity – the school is on the cutting edge with innovation and entrepreneurship,” Prof Zhao said.

The college believes that every interaction provides students with the opportunity to discover and flourish, creating the self-confidence to seize what life offers.

Limited places remain for 2020 and enrolments are now open for Year 7, 2021.
