FOR the first time in the 10year history of the Jandakot Senior Football Club, the league, reserves and colts teams all contested grand finals on the weekend.
Jandakot was the only club in the Western Australian Amateur Football League to have two undefeated sides in the competition, with both the league and reserves finishing with 16 wins and zero losses for the home and away season.
That good form carried into the grand final for Jandakot’s league team, who beat their Osborne Park opponents 112-51 to record a massive 61-point victory.
The reserves team was not so lucky, going down to the Cobras 50-44.
After claiming a nailbiting one-point win against minor premiers Secret Harbour to progress straight to the grand final, the colts made it two from three for Jandakot in 2018 when they beat Secret Harbour 41-34.
It has been a momentous year for the club, with its 10-year anniversary, first League grand final and progression into the C3 competition next season.
