Join one of literature’s most beloved heroines on her adventures through Wonderland as a lively cast of actors and puppeteers bring 20 characters to life on stage in a play that takes audiences down the rabbit hole with Alice. Follow her while she tumbles with the Tweedle Twins, chases the White Rabbit, boos the boisterous Queen of Hearts and takes tea with the Hatter at maddest tea party of all time. Directed and adapted by Australian Penny Farrow, the production QUAY TO SUMMER MERCHANTS MESS MARKET Celebrate Australia’s multicultural heritage with fare from Perth’s favourite food trucks. The event will feature local favourites Express Lane Cafe, Kazoomies-Feel Good Food Restaurant, Freo Harbour Bar and Eshed Markets. For seafood lovers, there will be a dedicated mussel bar. In front of the Spare Parts Puppet Theatre will be a popup puppet-making station. There will be a selection of material to create your own hand-puppet.
