Ferreira opens his doors, naturally

Cockburn Gazette - - NEWS -

HAMILTON Hill’s favourite sustainable home will throw its doors open to the public this weekend to share ideas.

The Forever Project’s Chris Ferreira and other experts will take visitors through the sustainably built home and garden, teaching them how they can make their own home more sustainable through simple steps such as intelligent garden layout, natural airconditioning and solarpassive design.

As well as tours, visitors to the open day will also have access to expert advice and workshops and have the chance to win some prizes.

Mr Ferreira said he will also be discussing their innovative infill development plan, which incorporates four homes and 40 trees in the one space.

The open day is on May 19 from 10am to 4pm at 11 Mortlock Streett, Hamilton Hill.

Tickets are available from hamihillhome. eventbrite.com.au.
